This is Japanese Stiltgrass. We have seen increased populations of this grass come on stronger the past 4-5 years. Tends to like areas near woodlines and shade but you’ll see it elsewhere. It comes in thick and will choke out many other species. Our cattle typically won’t touch it. Not very palatable and probably low in nutrients as well. But we’re seeing a change now.
